A little help please.

I am looking to add a few other species of cichlid to my tank but I am wondering with my current stocking what would be compatible with the fish I currently have. The current stocking is as follows:

h.pearsei
h.bocourti
v. argentea
v.maculicauda
v.synspilum
c.Lenticulata may be moved to its own tank if it get aggressive
p.polleni
h. temporalis
non cichlids are 3 different sp. of tiger
fire eel
Giant gourami
2 sp. plecs
clown knife
12 clown loach
Sorubim lima

I would like to know what species of fish be it CA or SA would work well with this collection I am quiet drawn to a tiger oscar but not sure if it would work I may put one in its own tank. I am looking for singal sp or maybe a group all ideas welcomed thanks. Oh and the tank is 8x3x3.
 
Good god man! Thats one hell of a stock list! Very jelous... LOL I would think an Oscar would get pushed around in this type of arrangement. Unless, you could find one that is pretty big incompairison.
 
Are these fish adults? If they are all decent size and the chocolate is doing OK the and oscar should be fine. I would try to find a large one and the meaner the better.
 
It's pretty pack in that tank but I have seen people pulling it off.

Fishes I would personally add if it's my tank:


1xmale Midas
1xmale Trimac
1xmale Festae

and maybe a few flagtail characins.

At the moment all the cichlids are juvies I got them this way to give me the best possible chance of it working out the only one I am jubious of is the pike as it grows could turn into a problem but you never know. At the minute the chocolate does fine.

I wouldnt put more that one flagtail to a tank they fight in groups. Would you not think all of the above fishes are far to aggressive for my current stock as the fish I currently have are not overly aggresive are they?

i'd throw it a barred midas probably.
maybe even go with a loiselli or something.
you could probably add anything you wanted.
a school of dollars would look nice!
 
btw, it's a nice tank.
