right now i have a Daylight 10000°K/Actinic 460nm compact flourescent bulb on my africans and i really like it. it defenately helps bring out the color on all my fish but i was just wondering if anyone has a suggestion of a better spectrum. is there another spectrum out there to make my fish look even better?
i'm not worried about their diet. they get the best of the best. spectrum brand flakes, spirulina flakes, bloodworms, plankton, and beefheart. i defenately feed a variety and it defenately shows in their color and personalities. call me crazy.
