A little mod to the Mini? What do you think?

Okay, so I'm thinking of putting flames (as in Mirthmobile flames) on my Oxygen Blue Mini Cooper. Below are photos for reference. I'd try to get them as close as possible to the actual flames. My husband says it's lame. I think it would look AWESOME! Also, I frequently drive down the road singing various Styx, Journey, Jethro Tull Songs, and Bob Seger songs. I think it's fitting. What do you think?

What are ghost flames? I kinda thought it would look better if they were cartoon-y. Are they cartoon-y? I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to be serious with my flames!
