A little update on my Bahia

He was very skittish and skinny when I got him a few weeks ago. He is finally looking like he's starting to put on a little weight. Now that he doesn't freak when I stand near the tank it's time to ween him off of feeders. It's taken a good bit of patience, but I can see the potential in him.

I will! I got some great advice on how to get him off of live food, so hopefully he'll be pounding Massivore in no time!

He appears to be curious of the little Orinos eating pellets...thought he was going to try one tonight- he darted across the tank towards it, but stopped short of eating it. I think he did that on purpose just to mess with me! Lol

I think you're wrong. Mine looked almost exactly like yours at that size. Give it time. Bahia looks better as it grows. Mine is over two years old. I hope you keep it that long Drew. Good water is key in bringing out the gold.
