Here is a video that I recorded of one of my peacock bass spawning. This was a while ago and the egg-laying bass has come and gone. They outgrew my tank and had moved them over to my brother's 300 and his Australian Arrow killed it...Enjoy, for those who wonder what the spawn is like or how it's done. The last few seconds of the video you can actually see the eggs being placed.

I picked up the peacock from someone who kept her with two huge oscars and multiple other fishes. When I picked it up and noticed the deformed lip, I question the owner of what happened and he said it was like that when he bought it, yea right!!! I figured she must of have been bullied possibly by the huge oscars and caused her to run into the tank walls.
