A near miss

So I get up this morning and as I walk past my son's room I see my divided aquarium with two 5-6" male grammodes on the same side.

Not cool.

And of course my newer and smaller one has jumped over into the larger one's side. It must have just happened because there are no worse injuries than split fins on either fish.

The cichlid gods smiled on me today!

Oh wow you really got lucky. Another 10 minutes and that would have been that!

I imagine it would have gotten really ugly really quickly. Grammodes seem to have the capability of inflicting a lot of damage in not a lot of time.
