thanks, actually this one has just arrived 2 days ago, got it from a friend who raised it since young, not sure what size he got it. As for the food, mainly shrimps, and worms. This aro is now in my 420g together with my catfish groups and a cuban gar, and yes other catfish in the pic above is a sorumbim lima.
 
I have a 7 inch growing out right now and also was trying to get a Lima or two but that is being prolonged beautiful cats for sure.
 
Awesome looking aro! First picture looked like a silver at first haha. Mine is around the same size but the color seems different!
 
yeah, I could tell the different my self at first time it arrived in my tank. I think it will look more n more like silver as it grows.
