first i divided my tank cause my con was chaseing my dempsey all over and being stressed alot. a few pics tonite or tommorrow. now my Q is, will fish still grow to there potinaul size wen divided from other fish?? my JD got a lil more bigger side then my male con tho cause he ( my dempsey ) has alot of growing to do b4 i give him away ( wanting to get him to 5 inches maybe 6 inches so i can get good store credit ) but i may be getting rid of my male con. dunno yet tho.

Keep the con, it is a nice looking specimen. Instead just give away the JD and get more eventually when you get a bigger tank.
most likly do that. i can get free cons ( the one i have now i got for FREE ) cause the cons they get dont even sell. and this guy was top dog in his tank.
Not near enough room for any size dempsey in a 29 divided or un divided it will not grow to its potential size in any tank you have it will stunt its size in that tank.
