5.i found inside the pipe (connected from the water pump to the filter media) have a lot of those brown color things, should i remove them?
6.will this thing harm fishes?
7.water brown color means high level of nitrate?

First off the majority of ur bb should be housed in bio media material, that way you can closely control the colony, if u don't have any bio media buy some before u start cleaning everything, wait a couple weeks for it to seed and then ur good, every month just swish it in tank water to clean, that way u can clean all substrate and tank without sacrificing the bb.
