I had my 7" RTC in my arow tank up until last week. Got the little guy about a month and half ago at 4" and its growing like a weed. Well, I decided he was getting to the point where I had to be cautious of my arows, even though they never even pay attention to each other.
So I take the RTC out and put him in my 8" 240 with my 16" CK.
7"RTC+ 16"CK= 1 messed up 7"RTC. Now, his dorsal fins are chewed up and he is really stressed out. I went down stairs tonight and decided to watch the tank and witnessed the knife taking jabs at my RTC, so I had to immediately remove the RTC and place him back in the 220. This just happened like 15 minutes ago. I wonder long it will take for his dorsal fin to heal up?

So does this mean I will have a problem introducing other fish into the 240 gallon with the CK already established in there? I have a nice TSN in there that is 9" I guess he is next? Anyone else have problems introducing other monsters to an established monster CK? Starting to get the feeling the CK wants all that space to itself!

the fins should heal fairly quickly, if you use melafix it will heal realy realy quickly(melafix is amazing stuff!!)
as for adding to the clown tank, try things biger than bout 9" unless you know it can definately hold its own.try things like some decent size cichlids, specialy crenichicla(some mite turn the tables though n dominate the tank so be careful)if u wanna add more knifes try gymnotus species coz their hardy grow large and are agressive as hell(my anguilaris used 2 go for me even when i was doin maintenance)

good thing you were there before things were worse.. hope he will be okay.:)

Well update: Recently introduced some new monsters to the tank. So far, since the tems and arows are larger than the CK, no issue has occured. Even better than that, my CK has finally started taking pellets for the first time.
My CK is taking sinking pellets and shrimp. WOOOHOOO!!!!
I guess it learned from the temensis.... :D

The TSN and RTC are gone to a new home...

Doesn't it make you feel great when they start to eat healthy pellets .. i was so happy when mine finally changed his ways..:D
