hi,

i'm looking at buying a powerhead to introduce a current to my tank but i'm not entirely sure what one and would like either suggestions or to know what you's guys are currently using, if any, and in what size of a tank you are using it in etc.

is a 900 L/h one ok in a 210L tank? it says suitable for 200 - 450L but aren't piranhas used to a stronger current than normal being from a river?

thanks.

I always say the stronger the better, it helps the fish grow faster and they live longer because they are more active.:headbang2 not to mention they love the current

nice one, cheers. i cancelled my 900L/h and ordered a 1100L/h powerhead last night so i'm glad you said that.

Even though Ps love the current you are still going to want to create a dead spot or two. Like place a rock or a bunch of driftwood in the current to break it up a bit so if your P needs a break they can swim behind the rock or whatever.
