A problem discus available at killer price.

Hey guys, i found a classified ad with a guy selling 3 discus for 400 rands (maybe 25USD) locally and i messaged him. Turns out the one discus is a tremendously pretty snakeskin with a twist, it doesnt know how to behave itself with other discus and he is willing to sell it to me for a low price, but i cant afford a large group of discus (6 or more). What will happen if i get it alone and keep it alone with no other discus and can i keep a discus possibly with delhezi bichir and a pink tail characin?

Tank is 70gal long?

Discus work best in groups of at least 4-6 (behavior, color, etc.) but they can be kept alone. However, in terms of your current set-up I think you might find the characin too aggressive towards a solo discus.
