A Python ate my Broken Saddle Endli

I'm out working a new contract 5 hours from home. So, my son decided he'd do me a favor by gravel washing one of the tanks. I've never had this happen before. My endli decided to ride the python and he's large enough that he can't be pulled or pushed from the tube. I told him to cut the tube. He argued that I'd lose the python if he cuts it. He got the idea when I told him to sacrifice the cheap tube to save the $300 endli.

so he's still alive? try to use a cutting pliers to cut a bit off that pipe and break it open! it gonna stress the fish but it will heal over time!

I sucked a stray feeder up by accident but never an actual fish! Thats crazy I hope he's alright.

My wife found a pair of bandage scissors and was able to cut the tube without cutting the poly. He back in the 300. Looks mad at the world but, he's upright and coloring back up.
