Hi ,So theres a 400 L tank with 23 goldfish:3 are about 25 cm, 4 are about 15 cm and the rest are less then 10 cm. I want to hear your opinions on the WC scheduale reccomended, is 25% once a week is too much? please share your opinions, thank you!

that's a lot of bio load for a relatively small tank. even if you halved your stock and doubled up on your water changes you'll probably be still way off the mark.

I don’t think 25% water change in a week is enough. Plus don’t know how often is he eating it.I would likely do 50%wc twice a week. Check the water and then adjust according to what your nitrates are assuming the tank is cycle.

I have a 75 g with 6 fancy gold fish. by Saturday the water is dirty I do a fin high WC, I'm thinking thats not even enough for my tank. I can just imagen how dirty your water is. up the water changes. if I was you i would do 75% every 3 days

I would say 50% 2x weekly as well. Whatever it takes to keep your parameters in check

Get some kind of hydroponic or drip setup. No way I could maintain a tank like that any other way.

I normally do 30%-40% every other day.
So to me 25% per week is a drop in the bucket.
Think of it this way, freshwater fish are constantly urinating (thru gills) so the more water changes you do, the more you are diluting urine, the less you do, the more you are turning your tank water into a strong urine soup.

I have two tanks running ATM. First is a 125gal, it gets 50% every other day. The 55 gets 50% every 3rd day.
