Would it be possible to introduce an angelfish to a tank that is already inhabited by two red jewels as well as a convict? I've attached a couple of photos to give you an idea of the type of setup that I have. Thanks in advance.

One of your Hemichromis (red jewel) looks sick. It is bloated. You should fix that first before considering adding any other fish.

It would also be helpful to know the tank size.
What would be the best way of reducing the bloating? Thanks.

In general I wouldn't put an angel with a convict, the angels are more fragile with their long flowy fins, and convicts are pretty violent usually. The jewels may be as well if they are a breeding pair.
Could you get a clearer picture of the bloated jewel, perhaps we can diagnose better and help you figure out what's wrong with it.

Thanks. I will try to get a better picture and post it here.

The tank in question is five feet by two with a depth of two feet. As far as water changes are concerned, I carry them out once every couple of weeks. I usually remove about 40 percent of the water and vaccum the gravel as well. Thanks.
Bloating is usually due to a bacterial infection due to some sort of stress.
How often are you doing water changes, and what amount (percent of tank)?
Also as Milingu asked previously, what size tank?

The fish looks so badly bloated that I see no chance for it. I would still increase the water changes to once a week for while just to reduce the risk of other fish falling sick.

Thank you. I just carried out a new water change again today.
