a question about a bonded pair of cichlids

ok i got a pair of Hemichromis Elongatus i had to relocate them and put them in a 55 gal with a pair of sals , my question is if i a bonded pair breaks , is that it or can they get back together

They can get back togather, but You may have to move them to a bigger tank or use a divider.

Yeah they should get back together almost immediately but may need some time to adjust.

nah i got some from him but not these Hemichromis Elongatus , i got from mainly cichlids months ago i will be up there to trade in the sal i got from you with another sal and my convicts, aslwell as some mextico blue fry , to make room from what i got from chuck

nice we could use some more mextico blue, the biggest one went on a killing spree a few nights ago, and took out at least 6 before we found it and moved it in the morning

They can regain the bond, but I've personally had some disasters with fish that didn't

i have put them in a 30 gal to hear and there is no agrression so hopefully all will be well
