a question about buying a small motoro

hi everyone.

i just came across a baby male motoro for sale (about 3"). its not cheap at about $250, but i really liked it, its fat and eating and very active. the prob is will it be ok with my 10" inch female or will it be bet to death?

what sized tank???? if they have room then it can work.... if not then i wouldn't.....

Depends on the ray. In my opinion it should be fine, however sometimes larger rays will get aggressive towards one another. Watch it closely for the first little while

Are rays hard to come by in your area? Thats sounds really expensive for a ray that size...

I have two motoro's and they get along. One is about 8 inches across and the other is about 4 inches across. They do fine as long as I keep them well fed. That is a lot of money just for a motoro tho unless it is a marble.

I agree..... not worth it getting killed or it getting disfigured......, rays are only perfect and spotless until they are ready to breed......, then they get beat up no matter what.....
