I have a 3" male Parachromis sp. "la ceiba" that I'd like to move from a grow-out tank to one of my two 210 gallon mixed CA tanks. Here's the catch - each of the 210s already has a Parachromis. In one tank I have a 7" male P. friedrichsthalii, and in the other a 5" female P. loisellei. Would I be asking for trouble by adding the smaller "la ceiba" to either of these tanks? My gut feeling is that the male "la ceiba" and female loisellei would eventually pair up and disrupt the peace, and that the larger freddy would take offense to the addition of the "la ceiba". But I've never tried multiple Parachromis in a tank, so I'm curious to hear from those with more experience. Both the freddy and loisellei are peaceful within their current communities, although both are dominant when push comes to shove.

From my understanding mixing same sex parachromis usually doesn't work add to the possibility of a pair forming I'd leave it out to keep the peace

let him grow more, i feel like your 7 inch male freddie could possibly eat it if its less then half its size. Iv had a big 13 inch male jag with my dovii at 6 inches and it was fine for a while but eventually the dovii started going bonkers
