Just for your information, I know absolutely nothing about saltwater fish keeping but back when I lived in florida, I fished the saltwater flats when I could get of my cattle ranch. Have any of you kept saltwater gamefish. Preferably redfish, snook, speckled trout, cobia, pompano, bluefish, etc. I'm not really referring to grouper unless you have a big. What size tank do you have for it?

Groupers are the only ones i've commonly seen, including some of the big ones. The problem with salt water "gamefish" is that they are often big, and fast, therefore need huge ammounts of tank. Some of the larger groupers for example need multiple thousands of gallons.

most of the game fish also have size limits and such, so it's not possible to grow out small specimens either. You need huge tanks for some of the large active fish. Closest thing I've seen is the display tank at the local Bass Pro Shops, which has snappers, redfish, snook, tarpon, and some other stuff
