I restored the Koi pond in my yard years ago but never really figured out its total volume. I am a chef not a mathmatition! Ironic because the question involes pi.......I have a concrete 9.5 foot circle......3 feet deep.....I would love someone more comfortable with numbers to give me hand.....i filter for 1000 gallons but it is way understocked.....I am considering putting a cold weather monster cat in there!! Thanks!!

I have never emptied it completely.....It gets fresh water from the sky which just did a 40% water change for me last week when we got 7 inches of rain.....with a circle the math should be easy for those who do math and know the formula which I do not!!!! Thanks though!

Formula for volume of a cylinder, V =(Pi)(h)(r)(r)

Or volume = (pi)(height)(radius)(radius)

thanks....would you enter the dimensions in inches or feet? Is the answer in cubic feet or inches? How about gallons???? Thanks!

Thanks....thought it might be more....I know it pretty much taps out my well to fill it up!!

Gotta be more than that.....over nine feet across.....three feet deep.....you can swin in there!
