Another quick aquascape video that might interest. I have added a small shoal of blue coral platys for added interest. Man made strain, but a really nice little fish.

Very cool video. Shows how simple a beautiful aquascape can be. What kind of branches do you use? Do you just gather them yourself?

Very nice Nutty, glad to see I am not alone with keeping Platties with S/CA cichlids. Definently a more colorful dither. Not to mention they replace themselves:naughty:

The cost is also another factor. For the price of one pure strain swordtail, would cost the same as a small shoal of platys. Also i cannot be bothered trying to source them, manmade strains everywhere.

Thanks for the feedback buddy. :)

Thankyou. In this aquascape, the thinner branches are beech tree, the thicker are from a pear tree. Yes i collect them myself. :naughty:

Thanks for all the feedback guys, appreciate it.

Very cool! Are platies from SA/CA? I have seen this done before with sword tails and it seems to be a close biotype aquarium. Very good tutorial and great looking tank! Thanks for sharing!

Your video is so clear. What type of equipment are you using?
