A rare find! Update

I havent posted pics of my Amphilophus Alfari in a while.
Any ideas if it is male or female?

8". I got it a few months back. I got it from an Icelandic lfs, it was an unknown fish but after few minutes in searching on the internet i found out the species.

no, not really, doesnt like some fish but is rather passive.

Have to do some research on sexing, but I think thats a blotch on the dorsal. That might be a indicator like they are in trimacs. It's a long shot, but could be a posibilty. If it is then thats a female.

I remember when you first posted about this and I think someone said they recalled it being like a festae, although not 100% accurate, but the black front dorsal. They look like a festae/robertsoni cross (kind of) to me.
