Our dog and cat can rarely be in the same room as one another, the cat is a savage and has a go at the poor dog at every opportunity. I was doing a water change in my fish room and my missus shouts me into the living room. "Look at this", she said. I couldn't believe it. The cat and dog were laid on the sofa together and the cat would never usually allow that. He must be going soft in his old age. Can you see how wary the dog is looking? That is for a very good reason.

Lol all I see the dog saying is "is.. is it safe?.. I don't feel safe, but it isn't doing anything so I guess it's safe?". Knowing me if just be waiting for the cat to suddenly attack the dog. Lol ik for certain my cat wouldn't act this way, my cat hates dogs and will attack em without warning.

Btw does your cat happen to be part Savannah cat? It definitely looks like one atleast. That and it would explain the aggression lvl your cat has.

Yeah he's part savannah, but only an F6, so the bloodline from a pure savannah is diluted. That cat is an absolute nightmare, he is so funny, but when he wants to he can be brutal as well. Savannahs are expert bird catchers and that's what his favourite pastime is. He'll fetch 2 or 3 home a week. They're not scared of water one bit and to prove that he fetched a 10" koi carp home from a neighbours garden pond about 2 years ago. I had to reimburse my neighbour for that and he's since put a net on his pond. He'll also jump in the shower with you, something that freaks me out bearing in mind he tends to dive on anything wriggly and worm like:WHOA:.

He fetches mice, rats and rabbits home quite regularly but astonishingly he brought home a baby fox only a month or so ago. I was in bed, it was late one night and my missus was still up. She heard a whelping in the garden. When she went out the cat dropped the squealing young fox and it ran off!! Lucky fox.

He climbs in open windows of neighbours houses scaring them half to death. He also went through a phase when he was really young of pinching clothes off washing lines. But the worse thing he used to do was perch on the top of an open door stalking and when you came through the door you'd be wearing a savage cat as a hat! He'd just dive on your head and I ended up with some really bad scratches on my face once. Thankfully he doesn't do that anymore.

I could go on and on. All I can say is that anyone with a savannah, where the bloodline is less diluted and closer to the pure savannah than ours, I feel you're pain. Lol.

Lol sounds like fun. Ik I always wanted a Savannah cat or a Bengal but my cat wouldn't allow that. My cat, even tho he's just a stray alley cat that I adopted from my trash can about 14 years ago, he hates other animals, he will go out of his way to attack cats and dogs regardless of size. Only animal he fears are dear and that's just because he got scared by a deer mount falling off the wall onto the couch while he was sleeping on the same couch. He's not the biggest cat in the world but he definitely knows how to fight that's for certain, I've personally had to stop him from killing a stray cat he cornered out front of the house one year. Kinda wonder tho how it would go with a cat almost twice his size tho, he's been calming down allot now that he's in his senior years. But yeah I totally understand the "presents" thing tho, my cat brings me presents in the shape of birds (sometimes full sized pigeons), young rabbits, squirrels, frogs, mice and the occasional endangered snake specie (never really proud when he bring me one of those) never seems to be a common one. But yeah he's forced to leave his "presents" out on the porch rather then bring it inside, had one too many instances of a not so dead animal getting loose in the house.

Lol if there was one thing I could change about him, is just to have him be a lil less chatty.
