:WHOA: I got a call Tuesday morning from my boss. She wanted to know if I could bring my shop vac to work, we had a flood. I grabbed my vac, 200' of garden hose and some extension cords. When I got to work the entire store was flooded. I was like :WTF: (keep in mind this is a warehouse style store) One of my idiot employees forgot to shut off the water to the chemical rack and the rack fell of the wall and water ran all night. :swear: I almost went to jail for killing him!::angryfire
About seven of us spent 12 hours moving water with help from 5 wet/dry vacs, a water pump from one of my employees pool, a 100 gallon rubber maid tub, 2 squeegies, and 5 large pizzas. Oh yeah, we had the flood clean-up mascot there too!
The yellow tint of the water is the result of 12 years of dried up nasty crap collecting under the shelves and washing out. Here it is the next day and the store smells like...well you know! :barf:

oh yeah, that's my shoe floating in the deep end!

wowww, thats a big loss, the dude should lose his job,Bummer day at work

Since you're at it you can throw out that shoe of yours:ROFL:

Seriously now., what a ****y day you must have had....

no loss of life. i hate those shoes. "crocs" or whatever they are called. ugliest shoe invented. i got them for work so i dont have to wear wet shoes bc they dry so fast.

it was pretty slick. someone was falling everytime you turned around. the water ran all night but it ran THROUGH the mixer so there was 2 gallons of super concentrated floor soap in with it. we didn't walk, we ran 3-4 feet and slid the rest of the way. one guy almost lost his baby toe on a bird cage. cut him up real good.
