So a recent thread got me . It was about how often do you vacuum your tank. I thought oh I have good flow I don't see stuff around on the floor. But that night I decided to do a clean and rearrange the rocks when I went and rearrange the rocks I found so much stuff I didn't know were in the nooks and cranny. Here are some pics of before and a little video of after thank you.

Hello;yes the detritus/mulm does accumulate. I stick the siphon into the substrate every time I do a WC.

Fish definately are more frisky after a good tank cleaning.
A good weekly gravel vac not only rids the tank of gunk, but dilutes unwanted populations of parasites, bacteria and virus. Enjoyed your video. Nice tank.

Thanks I made the background for to. I do weekly vacuuming but I was surprised when I moved the rocks how much was hiding

Rocks are like natural funk collectors, this is why so many gravel streams are clear
