Well Unfortunately due to another hobby of mine (reptiles) my better half is making me get rid of my cats:(:(:( I have a baby on the way and she does not feel safe with a large indoor pool in the house where a child could possibly drown.(nor do I) I had been playing around with the idea of putting then in my shop 60x40 But i would have a extremly hard time keeping them from boiling in the summer(many 100f plus days). I was also thinking of putting them in my 300 but I have to much $$$$ in africans . I wish she would let me keep just one but I would still need the pond so at this time in my life I will have to put monster cats on hold.I am also leaving town for 10 days and do not have anyone to takecare of them while gone.I have til next wed to get rid of them and it is breaking my heart.:cry::cry: I am offering them to you guys first at a reasonible price or I will be taking them in to my lfs for credit. They are as follows .1-5 1/2 to 6 in tsn, 1-41/2 to 5 in rtc and one 6 in rtc/tsn. I also have 1 61/2 to 7" bagarius bagarius.:( Anyone interested pm me and we can make arrangements .If you are local I can meet you

You can put them in a pond in your shop if you feel like investing in a chiller.Or maybe theres a diy version. As far as feeding you can invest in an auto feeder. And congrats on the baby.

A chiller would be thousands for the size tank I was planning 1000+. An auto feeder would work if I could get them to eat pellets in the next few days but they are spoiled and used to being hand fed shrimp ( only the best). And thanks it will be my first found out yesterday it is a girl.

What if you were to place a fence around the pond? I mean she still isnt walking yet. That'll be many months. Even so, a small wooden fence could be an option?

Thanks 4 the ideas guys but my only option at the moment is to give them up 4 store credit. Or sell them to someone . Bruce, absolutely! I still have my 300 malawi tank and a 72 bowfront salt reef.

Congrats on the new baby girl. Sorry you gotta give up your cats. Leaving them for 10 days wouldnt kill them. Just give them a nice feeding before you go along with a waterchange and when you get back they'll be waiting for you.

I feel for you my friend. My little one is the reason I don't have any big cats :).
