well unfortunately i was unable to find out what was wrong with my clown knife soon enough. he died sometime last nite. as far as i can tell, from my research the problem was either organ failure or a bacterial infection in the swim bladder, no idea what caused it cause though, fortunataly he was in quarantine (a good idea with all new fish) so it did not affect any of my other monsters. so i guess its back to the LFS for me.a sad morning

Sorry for your loss.....Knife fish are quite the cool fish....Just make sure you have a tank big enough to house those bad boys.....They get really huge, and can be quite mean....I was fortunate to have 2 of them.....Had to get rid of them.....they were causing all kinds of trouble with my other fish....They were a good 16" when I got rid of them.....Cool to watch eat....

That sucks man I feel for ya, I lost a brand new TSN awhile back an had no clue why the lil guy passed.
