As some of you already know, i have 4 irredescent sharks(1 12inch, other two 7 inch and the last one 6 inch),four silver dollars, one oscar, one zebra tilapia and one raphael catfish in a 120 gallon four feet by four feet pond. I already know they don't have enough space and i have trying to convince my parents to buy me a bigger pond. We don't have much money, so they told me to sell my two parrots(out of 22) to get some money and buy a bigger pond. I tried to sell them but failed. I expressed my problem to my parents but they ignored and said"they have enough space and we don't care if they die or not". This saddened me and so i have decided to give away all my collection for free. At first i hesitated because i knew that no one who lived near me had a big enough space for them. But i have no choice since i can't watch my fishes die in my own hands. When i was first buying them, my elder brother and parents assured me that they would buy me a bigger pool a few months later but they didn't. Just wanted to share my story.

I'm not going to bash anyone in your family but find the ID Sharks a good home. I went through something similar to what you are going through but when I got my own home and decent job could buy aquariums on my own.

Maybe try your lfs or local fish club nearby. Post on fb or Craigslist. Might be able to help.

I'd think you have plenty of time to sell the parrots and raise the money.

You could also consider getting a broken tank or glass panels or acrylic panels and making your own tank... or finding a used above ground pool.

How deep is your 4ftx4ft? if it was 2ft deep, it'd amount to 240 gal, not 120 gal.

Thanks for all the support. After doing a whole lot of work, i am finally setting up a 7 feet by 3 feet above pool. it is used and old but it should do the job. My three and a half month struggle finally paid off. Thanks a lot for your support. I wouldn't be here without your advice and motivation.

Hopefully your parents will see you are really serious about taking care of your fish and change their opinion and at least contribute some cash for a new pond someday in the future.
It’s good to see you solved the problem yourself for now. A good lesson for a young dude to learn that some initiative and determination will go a long way. Well done, good luck with it all, keep us posted on any developments.
