A silver and a bichir: who is the prey here?

i have a 5inch silver n a 5inch senegal bichir in a 6x2x3 tank with 5bp n a 5inch bgk. my tank 3ft high. n just gotten the bichir recently

so i heard 'oddball' stories bout bichirs eating/hurting aros bout the same size as the bichirs n im beggining to be worried bout my aro.

would my 3ft high tank prevent any attack frm the bichir? or is the possibility of such an event is really that oddballishh?

Senegals generally aren't very fish aggressive and won't go after another fish unless it's significantly smaller. You should be fine for now. If anything though, that silver will outgrow it very fast and may regard the senegal as a prey item eventually . . .
