a simple question for my ck and bgk

i fed both of them super worms...they just ignore it....they dont eat those??those are live superworms by the way

How big are the worms compared to the fish?

my fish are like 5 inches and the worms are more or less 2 to 3 inches

If they havent eaten anything yet, give them bloodworms first to get them started eating and then start in with the bigger food. I got my ck when he was about 3 in. He was good, he would eat anything. when he was 5 in, I fed him a nightcrawler. He ate it even though it took him over 30 min. to get it down. the next day, he had twice as many spots as he had the day before.

wow! thats great!! i hope mine would learn to eat those super worms......i think they prefer to eat live fish rather than live worms and bugs.

This guy will eat anything. crill, worms, fish, feeders, cichlid sticks, pretty much anything. He grew from 3in. to 10in. in a matter of a few months.

Try getting tubifex worms or sinking pellets. BGK don't like the Super worms coz they have a hard skin.

you should not feed the BGK supers.

Definitely go with something softer until they get larger.
