You know you have a deep love for your fish when you write a song for one of them.
I wrote this and produced it a few months ago, for my Oyster Toadfish, Leon.
So far, I've found that I am the only one on this site who has been able to successfully keep a Oyster Toadfish (also known as "Freshwater Lionfish"). Although I could be wrong in saying that. I might just be the only one who talks about them lol.
Leon and I have had quite a great time over the past 18 months of being together. She has over doubled in size since the day I got her.
And you may be wondering why she has a male name.
I always thought she was a male (just a shot in the dark) until a month ago when she laid unfertilized eggs in my tank for 5 days (The first known time a toadfish has ever done this in captivity to my knownledge).
