A special senegalus

Hi guys,

about two weeks after buying my first predatory Fish, an at that time about 3.5" Senegal bichir in December 2010, I noticed it was missing a fin. Again a couple of weeks later, i noticed another missing fin on the same side of the body. I presume this could be because of the hormone treatments these fish get in Asia. What do you guys think?

Yeah it's quite interesting. I asked a biologist about it and he didn't know anything about it either.
No i didn't see them disappearing..Was like that from the beginning

Thank you ! No he doesn't , but in midwater he swims more like a snake than like a fish
