A Stocking question.

Hello. I have a 30 gal hex aquarium with 2 medium sized angels and 3 serpae tetras and I was asking if it could have room for 2 silver dollars. Thanks for your help.

Silver dollers do best in a group of at least five. They need pelenty of swimming room and a 30gl hex is quite small. Also as the angels grow it will get quite crapmed, so I would say no.

okay, so no silver dollars. Thanks. I thought that they were peaceful species but now I see I`m wrong.

They are peacful, they just can get quite big depending on sp. but need plenty of swimming room, and fair better in groups. If you get a bigger tank in the future go for it, they are a really nice fish.

Honda has it right, they are peaceful but 5-6 fish each 5" long and very active, and you see how they will crowd the tank.
