A tough decision, but I think it’s the right one. (Plans for the future)

I’ve decided that it would be best to find my Carpintis, Bruce a better home. I already knew that at some point he would outgrow his 75g but I’ve realized I don’t want to see that or let it get to that point. I’d rather rehome him before he becomes uncomfortable. I don’t have the space for a 125g at the moment which would really be the more ideal tank. I’m also going into my senior year of college next year and I know I won’t have the amount of time that it will require to maintain a 9-10 inch fish in a 75 gallon tank. As much as I would love to see a 10 inch male Carpintis everyday, right now that dream might have to be put on hold for the time being. This might seem like an impulsive decision but I promise it’s not, I’ve given this a lot of thought for some time now.
As for the 75 gallon, I have my male convict that I’m sure will be more than happy in there for a very long time. He’s got plenty of personality and part of me wants to see how a male con will turn out in the long run, given the right tank size and care.
Feel free to weigh in. I put a lot of thought into this decision, I’d love to hear some feedback ?

I’m happy and also sad to say that Bruce has been removed from the 75 and is going to a better home.
On a more uplifting note I was able to pick up couple of livebearers, swordtails in particular. I’ve read on multiple threads that they can make good dithers for the Amatitlania family of cichlids, like my male con. They’re also found in a lot of the same locations which is a big bonus in my book. I have them QTing in the 75 currently while I get the tank ready for my con over the next few weeks.
