So, i was in Udonthani (Thailand) last weekend acquiring stuff for my new aquarium and i happen to have a camera in my bag so i snapped some pictures of oddballs which would not be so odd on MFK :headbang2

So, i did not take the photos of the usual stuff: mollies, guppies, fighting fish, kois and all that.

Pity that i could not capture the coloring of those four paimas. All four show very good red coloration on their scales and tail - so they have great potential. Hehehehehe, i have put deposit on all four of them :D will be going over to get them next week (this week unfortunately busy on site)

Still thinking whether to get those hybrids ...

I will take more pix when i go back for those paimas next week

PS: i actually live across the Mekong River in Laos

2000 THB for a piece. 1 USD = approx. 35THB

They are not that rare over in Thailand. I believe they breed them in Thailand in ponds and all that

Awesome! How big are those RTCs? Look 2"!

Yeah, something like that. I have actually never seen RTC so small before ... very tempting to get more - they are soooooo cute - dirt cheap too

tanks are a bit dirty and u can tell they dont take much care of them but then so do are LFS lol but they do have some cool fish in there

Very cute. If I could get em that small and cheap i'd snap one up in an instant.

nah, they eat wayyyy too much when grow-up - so not so cheap in the long run. Trust me - i know

I'm just saying I would. I would imagine them to eat much more than 4 pimas lol
