I stumbled across this site recently and found it to be very informative. And the info on the site is from a veterinarian with a pharmaceutical degree so that is a plus. There is also a very interesting thread on the main page about everyones favorite cure all SALT. Take a look and let me know what you think. http://www.fishyfarmacy.com/

Nice find, but the guy isn't a veterinarian.

The article on salt had no scientific basis. It is correct in that koi and goldfish should not have salt added to their water. Other than that, the author seems to be clueless what saltwater fish really swim in. Do not make the mistake that since sodium chloride isn't idea for pond fish that it shouldn't be used with other freshwater fish. Additionally, the article stresses that salt has no internal effect but blatantly omits external benefits.

And when a company stands to lose money because of an inexpensive treatment vs. their more expensive medications, you really should step back and ask yourself who they are really looking out for.

I'm not saying that they are an evil company or anything is wrong with their products. I'm just saying don't over hype what isn't so. And keep an open mind as to what you read. I am certain that they are a good company and it looks like you made a terrific find.

Your right the owner of this site is more than a vet--------------------------Dr. Gary L. Aukes graduated from the University Of Southern California in 1963 with a Doctors Degree in Pharmacy. He has been an expert in Chemistry, Ichthyology, Zoology and Microbiology for over 40 years. He has consulted State and Government wildlife agencies, and many other large zoo's, hatcheries and aquariums located in the United States and overseas. His expertise and knowledge can make your business very successful.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------i would probably never buy there products just because everything i have ever needed is just a drive to the local lfs. But the info is on this site is golden.
