well guys most of you know I got a berber skink on dec. 27th who had "something in his eye" well at 8:00 I came in to find a deceased skink and post rigamortis had set in so he had been dead a few hours, my suspicions are that he had an upper respitory infection or pnemonia. I had set a date for the vet on wed. morning for tmmr but I was too late
the only good thing I can say is he died in his favorite place, he had his tail and back leg buried in the sand with his little feet soaking in his water dish
this has to be the worst birthday ever and start to a new year! I feel as tho this is my fault and I have this terrible feeling in my gut that is telling me that I have been a wrongful person... I just feel like ***** and that any minute now god is god and budah and jesus and any other gods will come down and smite me for killing this little guy
my goodness I havnt felt this bad since my hamster died or when I found one of my kittens dead
plus on another note my grandmother of 87 years had a heart attack yesterday! like seriously!!!!! I am not having a good day

But is really very comon with this guys that something its wrong with them, simply because they are all wild cauth in north africa and shiped all over the world in often very bad condicions. If you want to try them again make shure that you get a long term captive one from like a rescue. Sujestion: because they are so rare to find as cb, if you like them why dont you dedicate part of your hobbist time into putting thogether a nice group and try to breed them?
