A wide bar back from the hospital (LOAD WARNING )

Friend of mine ( and fellow board member ) gave this dat to me a few months back.
I knew it had a chance but it was like 50/50. After consultation with fish importers and friends, they all concluded that this is similar to the fatal disease thats common with newly imported wide bars and ngt's.

Here are some before pics . Pics are kind of blurred and creepy ..

The wounds are actually worse than what it shows in the pic.

After about a month or more in the hospital tank and lots of treatment and tlc.. here is the dat

You can see the scars but they are all healed up and dry

Its deep flesh wounds . The blubber and meat were showing up. Pics were bad so they dont really show the extent. Some people said its a form of a protozoan disease. My theory is that its bacterial.
