because i frequent this part of the forums i would like to put my find in this area.

Today one of my friends at the job gave me a book called "Exotic Aquarium Fishes" copyright innes publishing company, philadelphia pa... 1935 (may and december) 1938,1942,1944,1945,1946,1948. press of innes and sons, philadelphia. printed in the USA

this book is amazing. total 503 pages

i thought the guy let me hold the book he actually gave it to me to have. real nice find here.

I also have a copy of this book (5th edition, published 1944). It is an awesome book. I read an article in TFH recently about the author - very interesting, the hobby owes him a huge debt of gratitude.

Innes' and Axelrod's books were the one's I read in the library as a kid. I am the obsessed fish-keeper I have become, thanks in part to their masterful works.
