got this guy the other day sold to me as a festae by a really reputable lfs
the owner who i know well said he was 95 percent sure it was festae as was i at the time but as soon as i got it home it all seemed different lol

in the shop they were all very dull but i was convinced due to the small cudle spot and what i thought was a light y bar.

just puttin a couple of pics up to make sure lol

are you talking about the fish with stripes? that looks like a barred midas / labiatus hybrid... the fish in the back with spots on the tail looks like it could be a festae...
 
yeah the lil guy in the front is who im talkin about the guy at the back in the second pic is a lyonsi
 
Sorry, not a festae.. If it'll make you feel any better, I've been had before as well
 
the pics are not great and i can see where your coming from with barred midas but im pretty sure its uro hs tail is much redder up close but his body isquite grey hence i can see where your seeng midas.

this is not the first time i have done this in my search for some festae lol although this time its even more annoying as im much more educated on what im looking for but oh well i got done again lol anyone lse been hit like this b4 im sure everyone has at one point?
 
Oh yea, I think most people who own festae, have bought uros before, I know I did. BEst bet is to order some from a reputable supplier
 
I've seen plenty of barred midas with red finns they come in several varients

Not a uro body shape is all wrong and they don't get stripes like that the only time there stripes show is when there pissed of and there tail spot is much larger you have some type of barred midas my friend
