last time, 3 weeks starving, after the 2nd, it would eat one to 3 piece of massivore daily but i had to attach a piece of shrimp on the massivore, and it would eat it.

then i was too friggin weak!
i gave in and went backt o stuffed shrimp

thsi time i will try hikari aro food sticks, floating.

i will be strong.
the fish is already semi starved coming outo f its fasting stage. one shrimp only in 4 days. so should be hungry ish.

today it was going for chchlid gold when i put it in there but would spit it out 1 to 2 sec after.

so im gonna go for it again:D

dont see what the big deal in getting aros to eat pellets

all aros love super worms just feed them and gut load them with pellet

pellets are great for fish but its best to feed a com tank in layers then everything gets food

my aros eat super worms and my rays eat pellets if the aros eat the pellets i would have no chance to get the pellets to the rays

am doing this as well - feeding the super worms TetraArowana sticks before feeding them to the fish. my only problem with the above is that they only eat a little bit of it.

am now experimenting with dunking and almost drowning a goldfish in liquid fish vitamins (literally) before dropping it into the aro tank. my aro eats them but its been 5 days and no change in color or anything.

They are probably the most balanced staple food, and certainly the easiest food to deal with (not alive, don't have to refrigerate or gutload etc). Over here pellets are pretty cost effective compared to other foods too.

GL man but you could try FD krills instead of pellets lol

Super worms owuld be ideal
in fact i breed mealworms - and have a constant supply of it at all times.
but the problem is tht super worms are actuall illegal in this country.
:D

if we had super worms i would have a massive breeding colony and i would feed that always lol

pellets are also easy when i go on holiday.

Same here except replace the rays with bichirs, lol.

Carrots are also good for gutloading worms. Lots of carotene for colour development.

oh i see
