Aba aba and a gar?

My buddy gave me his aba aba knife, maybe 14"? I've heard all about these fish biting hands and what not, mine doesn't seem aggressive at all. Would a needle nose gar be ok in this tank with the knife? Or is it no questions asked gone be good? Thanks!
 
Yup like mc311 will eventually end up dead, matter of time. Still an awesome fish but will be a solo specimen for sure.
 
Aba aba don't play well with others. Keep it alone for sure.
