anyone have success keeping aba's with big cats in something around 1k gallons? in time i will upgrade to about 9-10k gallons simply because i want a paima, but until then i was wondering if an aba would get along with the cats in an 8x8

If any tankmates kept, only just a matter of time.
Aba Aba are extremely aggressive and solitary fish, that normally do not tolerate tankmates at all.
How big of an Aba Aba are we talking about here, btw?

i want an aba aba for life. was just hoping i could get it, but it wont have a tank of its own, i was hoping i could keep one with my cats.
depends on the cat id say. . pima cats. dead.. rtc. maybe... how deep is tank . ? might need a bit more space to keep it calm.... it will def outgrow that thing if u keep it life...
I believe there is a member here who has one with some tankmates, but he/she hasn't posted in awhile. It was also in a large tank (over 300g, I think)
i would be keeping it in my 8x8 indoor pond with rtc, rtc x tsn, tsn, id shark, and various expendable cichlids
