Not really recommended. Others have gotten away with it but it's usually temporary.

The ones with tankmates and that are tolerated are lucky. But may one day come home to find them dead or just missing eyes or chunks out of them.

They have that reputation and do live up to it.

They can only really live with other fish that you wouldn't be overly sad if they ended up dead, I have found that they deserve the reputation.

Kept them a couple of times. Those juvenile below 5 inches used to hide. Those above 12 inches were out right nasty. Practically bite other fishes into half. To me,this is a true predator. Unique and deadly.
