Depends what size it is. For life I would say a minimum of 180 gallon, 6' tank. If you really want to show off its awesomeness, go as big as possible. 55 gallons make good grow outs until the fish hits about 10" IMO.

A 10" Dovii in a 12.5" wide tank is not a good grow out. I kept mine in a 55 until it hit 6" then moved it.

I'm gonna say female. It just has the body shape of a female. It does have a few freckles but all of my females had those at that size.

Only time will tell.. It does look like a Costa Rica variant though.
