Hi Guys,
This one is puzzling me, I came home from holiday to find slightly cloudy water but no levels of nitrite or ammonia, I did a large water change anyway and as I hoovered near a pipe in the tank I saw maybe 10 egge like things about the size of black pepper go up the Hoover. They were the colour or hens egg yolks and pretty round.
There was an ancistrus in the tank and I suppose the eggs could be from her but she was the only one in there, no other inhabitants, just one ancistrus and the two rays.
My rays were showing breeding activity but this stopped a few weeks back and I assumed she may be pregnant.
So do you all think my female aborted or the female ancistrus popped out some eggs even without make present?
