about 15 JD and a few JDxCON

I just came home with a bunch of new SA cichlids mainly JDs but there are a few JDxCON hybrids they all came out of the same batch of babies that came out of my friends tank very odd though that the con snuck in and fertilized some of the eggs because the majority of the batch are pure breds but a few are hybrids... and them hybrids grow like mad.. they look like huge cons with some JD jeweling on their sides and belly

I have seen pictures of JDxCon hybrids before although a long time ago. Would be nice to see some pics of yours.

Unfortunately with that frisky con running in there and throwing a quick one, you can not be sure of purity of any of those babies. The fact that they don't look like they have a convict in them does not mean they are not bybridized. On the other hand unless your friend is planning on commercially selling babies as pure strain JDs its probably completely irrelevant. I hope you enjoy your fish

ok here my crappy pics are this is the biggest one its about 3.5" he is pretty nice looking IMO there is a darker one that looks way better but I couldnt get a pic of it
