i just got 2 convicts a female and a male and the female is really agressive toward the male wat should i do?

you really should upgrade to a 20 long atleast. they are most likely fighting over space, even though they are a pair
You really need to upgrade to a 29 IMO this will most likely help with your aggresion, in a 10 gallon its kinda like sticking a married couple in a small room for several days, someones gonna end up deadredbellyPirahna4;1635264; said:

unfortunatly you have been misinformed, a 10 gal for fish that grow 5-7" is just not big enough. i honestly don't know what to tell you, because if you don't have enough money to keep them in something bigger..., but IME i have taken Cheap 50 gal rubber maid containers and kept fish inside them. with filters and heating of course, so it can be done for cheap.

You need more bottom space not overall volume which is why a 20 long was mentioned not just a 20.
