The long awaited debut of my baby eyelash vipers. I woke up early this morning to discover that my big girl was in the process of giving birth. There are 7 currently but I am expecting at least 2 more judging by the size of her. 3 are green and 4 are yellow. I will post a better picture of them once she is done and I feel like it is okay to disturb her. In the mean time I have class and work and will not be able to see her again until late tonight. I will update you guys then.

Thats so sick! One of my favorite snakes. When you say three are green what do you mean, I thought all eyelash vipers turned out yellow? Anyways, thats really cool congrats :)

Thanks guys. There have been a few more babies. I was up to 10 with 6 gold and 4 green by the time I left. I am going to keep the babies for about 6 months and get them eating on their own. Then I will be selling them to qualified people. LP- before you freak out, I did promise you one so if you can make it to the SC Colombia show in the spring, there is one waiting for you. Tom Crutchfield offered me a killer trade for some Albino EDBs so I might have to take him up on that. I am also going to be keeping at least one of them for myself as a vanity snake. I am so excited for these guys- I cannot wait to get home and take a better look at them!

What else can I say but congratulations?

I know this guy who was waiting for his ETB to drop babies for the longest time... but it just ended up being a pile of poop.
