How fast can redtails grow because I didnt want to put baby fish in my pond(it has nothing it it yet) so how big could could i grow out a redtail catfish before put in the pond. My grow out is a 40g breeder.

I know they grow SOOOO fast! Is your pond heated? How big is it? That tank will last about a month.

Don’t need to be heated for now in florida and it is 500 gallons once it outgrows giving it to a buddy who had 10k gallon pond
